This is the last model that I made,  I learn how to plan and find inspiration from the internet before I make the model. Though the previous model experience, I start to familiarise how to use different cutting techniques and materials to create different atmospheres to the model. For example, using wood to create a cozy feeling to the model, allow more natural lights to make the house brighter. Hope I will make more model in the future! :)

Week 8: Photoshop

Reflection

In this activity, I learn how to use photoshop to put texture on the model. As I am not familiar with photoshop, so this activity helps me to get use of it. When thinking about the different surfaces, I will consider the atmosphere of the house. For example, wood may represent warm and cozy, concrete refers to modern, stylish. I hope I will get used to photoshop and learn more technic about that.

In this model, I tried to use a smaller scale to recreate my bedroom, but I create a new rooftop and cut out different lines in order to project nature light into the room.

In this model, I use the tipping board as the texture, and it brings a good combination with the stick. I learn how to use different materials except paper to make models. I cut a big window on the rooftop in order to project more natural light into the room. I also add some small decorations like stairs.  

Week 5-7: Fusion 360

In this activity, I have learned how to use lofting and Shell to connect different profiles. At first, I have no idea how to design my name 'S' as there is no straight line of this letter, but at last, I use 2 semi-circles to replace the curve.

I understand how to use rendering skills to add texture and lighting on the model. It is interesting that different textures have different reflections of light, it brings a variety of effects to the model.

This is activity is one of my most interest parts. At first, it is a bit hard to connect different parts accurately as I made some careless mistakes on calculate. Through practice, I understand how to connect different blocks and use different functions in Fusion 360 and Illustrator.
